According to the British Acupuncture Council: ''the government has now stated: ‘From 27 January, there is no longer a legal requirement to wear a face covering. People are still advised to wear one in crowded and indoor spaces where they may come into contact with people they do not normally meet...’ This now means that you may decide to allow patients to choose themselves whether they wear a face covering in your clinic. They now do not need an accepted reason to choose not to wear a mask.''
In view of this change I am no longer asking patients to wear a mask whilst in the clinic. I will continue to wear a mask during treatments.
